I believe that when I die, I will gradually decay, and my consciousness will not endure. I do not fear death, but this does not mean I don't appreciate life! I do, however, feel that much of the beauty of love, life and liberty are to be found in their finiteness. I have a penchant for Martial Arts. As an art form, Martial Arts draw the foundations of their beauty from their efficiency. This alone makes them effectively unique. Most art forms rely on extravagance - waste - in an attempt to attain beauty. Ironically, I also have a penchant for Endurance events. I love running. I believe that science can frighten us after lifetimes led in tradition, mythology and ignorance. However, I feel that the pursuit of science will only bring us vigor and that the ideas opened to us in such a pursuit are of measureless joy. Listening to illogical arguments or those based on misunderstood information makes me want to cry… I believe the Universe is a fantastically difficult place to understand. Furthermore, I believe that to claim full knowledge of our incredibly beautiful, complex Universe is to trivialise - indeed belittle - our existences. I believe that heroes are the ones who never quit. They are the ones who get back up, again and again, no matter how hard they fall, never losing sight of their dreams. I'm not sure that I'm a hero. To try and take food from me is not worth the risk. I tend to heal very quickly. I don't hate being alone. I rarely sleep. I'm a total sucker for a decent romance story. I love running. I am exorbitantly stubborn. I am insanely patient. It's very easy to tell if I'm interested it topics I discuss. I'm an Antitheist, Ethicalist Vegetarian and Hardcore Incompatibilistic Determinist. I am myself, and shall remain as such even if the whole world changes. Aside from that, there's nothing worth knowing.
