Born in Sylmar, California, raised in Rockford, Illinois, Game Boy, a young rapper on the come up has earned the nickname "Certified Mexican." With his lyrical talent and hard-core beat making skills, he is deeply known in the industry of music making. "Growing up in the gang life, rapping was the only thing that kept me alive. Being now that I'm a man and have a family, I'm no longer gangbangin'. But best believe I put it down for all the gangstas", quotes the young rapper on the rise. He discovered his raw talent at the young age of 12, rapping with his older brother Dreamer of Gangsta Hop Ent. In 2006, he was featured on Dreamer's mixtape "En Mi Barrio" and in 2008's "Let it Be Known." He released his first mixtape "Love On Da Block" in September of 2008. Game Boy has successfully collaborated with Lil Blacky of Pimp Rollin' Records, Big Poke of Jive Records, featured on a Coast to Coast Mixtape hosted by Dj Soulless, and on International Hustle Vol. 3 hosted by Archie Bang and Dj Ames.
