I didn't sleep to well last night. Twice I woke up - I might have screamed. I was scared. I was happily dreaming. I was at the sea side and there had been an earthquake and there was limited time before the tsunami would hit. My family were trying to get a boat to safety; we had got it out of the sea and were pushing it along the dock. The thing was like a big fishing boat. It had no wheels but moved easily on the concrete. We were pushing the boat along a road and the boat got out of control and rolled away. It knocked some people over as we ran for it. I woke up. But I was aware there was someone or something above my head, I grabbed it and it moved and slid through my hands. I grabbed again and held what felt like someones face. I woke up panicked (this time for real, but maybe not) but fell back to sleep. I woke up again; still worried from the last time I woke up. I heard my brother say, “do you want some sweets?” I grabbed my brother’s arm and pulled here towards the bed so that I could see her. It was not him, instead there was a face like gollum from lord of the rings. Ahhhh I screamed. My heart racing. I woke up. Shit scared. Was I really awake? Was this still a dream? I looked around and let my eyes acclimatise to the darkness but things were not rights. I could see my room, but there was a red pattern over the top. It looked like awful red wallpaper. It was there and wouldn't go away. I lay awake, checking around through the darkness for things moving. Through the awful red pattern wallpaper but nothing moved. Eventually I fell asleep again.
