I keep making this stupid list of my favorite operas over and over again so I have decided to just list all of them here: 1. Norma and Rigoletto and Traviata and Gianni Schicchi 2. Madame Butterfly and Don Giovanni and Barber of Seville and Life for the Czar 3. Nabucco (which I have only heard on CD) and Carmen of course and Cenerentola and Aida. I am so pissed that I will not hear even one opera this year, because even though I live two blocks away from one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world it stages almost no operas...agh..so frustrated.
